(Reuters) – Britain’s [Restaurant](https://blockchaintribune.com/squaremeal-announces-the-top-100-restaurants-in-the-uk-for-2023/) Group, which owns Frankie & Benny’s and Wagamama, on Thursday named former Cadbury and Avis Europe executive Ken Hanna as its next chairman.

[Hanna](https://blockchaintribune.com/duran-duran-drop-new-album-40-years-after-debut/) will take charge on Jan. 1, replacing Debbie Hewitt who was [named](https://blockchaintribune.com/prosus-parent-group-naspers-name-fabricio-bloisi-as-new-ceo/) the chair of England’s Football Association in June.
